So School is Almost Over!

I can't believe it's already that time of year again. It's so crazy! So my college career is over and it's time to get into real life and get a job. I'm very excited to be home for good and to do new things, but I'm also gonna miss a lot here. It hasn't really hit me yet that I'm not going to be playing hockey anymore. I will have to try and get as much ice time as I can when ever I can. It just seems weird cuz I've been on this team for 4 years and it's over. Hopefully I'll find a good team to play for when i get home. I'm totally gonna miss the girls though. It's weird cuz I have a lot of close friends here, but they all live all over the world, so it's gonna be difficult to stay in touch with them. I'm probably not gonna miss missouri itself at all. Just the friends I've met here and hockey. It's gonna be good to get home.

School's almost over! (sort of)

So it's already February and it's crazy cuz it just seems like the time is flying by. It's weird because I feel like I've been away from home for so long, but yet it seems like the weeks are just passing so fast. I've got some exciting things happening in the next two months. Next week is very exciting cuz Andy is going to be visiting me here at school! it's so exciting cuz he's never been able to come out here and see where I have been going to school and he's going to get to see me play in a college game finally! It would've been sad if had never even gotten to see a game at all. The other thing that is really cool about it is that I'm celebrating my senior night. It's gonna be fun, but it's gonna be kinda sad cuz it basically means my college career is coming to an end. It's weird. I'm gonna be sad when hockey is done. But it is going to be an exciting year for hockey. We are ranked #1 again and we have a really good chance of winning again. Also another thing that is going to help me get over hockey being done is that I'm almost out of here! It's crazy but I'm going to be graduating soon! I'm so ready to be home!

Halloween!

Okay, so we just passed Halloween and lets just say mine was an interesting one. My hockey team was on the bus to Minnesota for Halloween, but we didn't let it stop us. The original plan we to dress up the rookies for Halloween, but I wanted to dress up too. The funny thing about it is that we ended up stopping at Olive Garden for dinner. We got a lot of stares at the restaurant. Who really dresses up there? haha yeah we are goofy. Here's a pic of me and Becca. haha, can you guess who we are? Beauty and the Beast! haha

Okay, so it's been forever since I wrote in here again! haha go figure. I just wish I had more time to write. So things have been great here. We just had tryouts/training camp here the past week and it went really well. I'm super excited for the season to start. It's going to be good to get into regular practices and games. I excited because coach was really happy with the way I'm playing, and I get to start out skating on my line that I love. I'm with Kippit and Karple. We've played together off and on for the past 2 years and we just have a good time. I think we will really get to keep it together this year.

School has been good too. I'm really enjoying my schedule and my classes this semester. I'm really looking forward to my photography class and my computer art class.

it's been a while

Wow! It really has been a while since I updated my blog. I should really write more often. Anyway things are going well. I've just been working a lot and trying to enjoy the summer as much as possible. It's awesome so far. I just wish I had more time. I can't believe I already have to go back soon. But it's weird cuz I have mixed feelings. I'm totally not excited to leave home yet, but then again when ever I get to school the closer I am to finishing. I can't wait to finish school. It's going to be sooo exciting. I guess it's just really easy to look into the future where I can picture myself with a good job and a cool place with Andy. I'm totally looking forward to that.

home for summer!

So i've been back home for about 2 weeks now and things are awesome. It has been kinda nice to be out of work and out of school for these past couple weeks. I do need to start earning some money though. i start work in a week and until then i'm gonna go do some work for my grandpa for some extra cash. It's just been really nice to enjoy home, seeing andy and the family, the sunny weather, the beach, great america, stanleys, and playin hockey with old friends. It's just been good so far!

I'm pumped! only got one more week of regular school then finals!! i'm sooooo pumped. Time to be home for the summer!
