Weather?

So the weather totally sucks here. I was surprised to have two sunny days in a row, but once again it's cold and rainy. The other crazy thing, is that we had an earth quake in the middle of the night. It wasn't that bad for us but apparently pretty big in the city. It was my room mates first time in an earthquake so she was a bit shaken up but i'm kinda used to it. Then there was an aftershock in the morning. It was weird though cuz it happened when I was talking to one of my teammates about the one in the middle of the night. Earthquakes are weird.

still at school

So I'm still here at school and it sucks. The weather is horrible!! It never decides whether it wants to be rainy, sunny, snowy, warm or windy. We get everything all the time, even in the same day! it's crazy. I'm ready to get home and get some nice sun, and be where it's warm. I always start to get tired of school by the end of the second semester cuz we've been here for so long. I have a harder time motivating myself to put effort into my school work by the end of the second semester. Don't get me wrong, I still am trying to do well, but it's much easier to stay on track at the beginning of the year and during hockey season.

So I've been thinking of some summer plans. I still would like to work at the rink and all, but it's not as fun as it used to be. I definitely am still planning on having the internship but I might want a side job that I work at just a few times a week just for some extra cash. It's either going to be the rink, or my new idea, maybe starbucks! :-)

news update

So it's been a while since I've updated cuz it's been busy here, but i'm gonna try to be better about updating more often. Basically stuff is about the same here, which is how it gets after hockey. More time to work on school but more time to think about home. I'll try to find a balance. I'm just excited though cuz it's gettin to so close to the end of school. I'm pumped! only about 5 more weeks. I'm still tryin to figure out this internship stuff. I'm not hearing back from some people about it yet, so I hope it will still workout. I'm sure it will, i just want to get it set up soon. One thing that sucks about this place is that the weather is still bad. This weekend we actually got some sun but only for two days and the rain is supposed to come back all this week. Hopefully it will be wrong and we will get more sun. So one exciting thing is that our rings should be coming fairly soon. They are gonna be tight. Bigger than the rings last time. Very exciting. So that's news around here. Hopefully I'll get around to posting almost every day from now on.
